Good post. I learn something new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be exciting to read through content from other authors and use something from their web sites.

We stayed with Putu at his place for two days and enjoyed his hospitality! The basic but beautiful jungle style accomodation was nestled in peaceful farmland close by to the dive shop and boat harbour we booked a trip out to snorkel Menjangan island.
Putu organised everything for us and was a gracious host, making sure that our taxi transfers, food and accomodation was adequate.
I would recommend staying here especially if you wish to explore the west Bali national park (he also works a a guide).

Everything I was looking for
I spoke directly to Putu and I couldn’t of asked for a more friendly and accomodating service. He kindly arranged for me to be picked up from Changgu, stay at his homestay, a day trip snorkelling at Menjangan island and a ride back to Changgu. The whole trip was effortlessly easy and the snorkelling was fabulous. Anyone thinking about a snorkeling tour to Menjangan island couldn’t recommend Putu’s service highly enough.

The homestay was clean and tidy, off the beaten track but all adds to the experience. Lovely breakfast, and coffee, beautiful garden to enjoy it in and the snorkelling trip was everything I’d hoped it would be.

Mangrove boat tour
Putu guided me through the different types of birds and fish that frequent the local mangroves and forest found in the west Bali national park. We saw kingfishers, barakuda, deer as well as the different types of mangrove tree. As the sun was setting we were one the only boats traveling on the calm waters before reaching the sea. There we saw deer island, west Bali national park and the volcanoes of Java, it felt like we had the ocean to ourselves. Thoroughly recommended.
